Starting in NYC 5 years ago, iStandard is now in 8 major markets such as Miami, Philly, San Francisco, LA, ATL, Chicago and several NEW cities on the schedule for 2010. During the show, producers play 5 beats each and get critiqued by a panel of industry execs, platinum producers and tastemakers in efforts to educate them on their presentational skills and overall approach to making music. The producers are then given verbal feedback from our judges and at the end of the show a winner is announced and a prize package consisting of production software, interviews and additional exposure oriented perks is awarded. iStandard has had amazing judges over the years from DJ Premier, Swizz Beats, and Hi Tek to Sha Money XL (Co founder of G Unit) Lenny S (VP of A&R Def Jam), Riggs Morales (SR VP of A&R Shady Records) and Senator Skid (AR Manager Bad Boy Records) to name a few. Producers, through our showcase, have placed records with 50 Cent, The Clipse, KRS One and Buckshot as well as Jill Scott and The Viacom Network (MTV). The iStandard Producer Showcase is a professionally run, well organized event that has a great reputation in the music industry while putting up and coming producers at the forefront of their movement.

The Judges for this 2 Day ‘Philly Style’ event are incredible…

Starting in NYC 5 years ago the iStandard Producer Showcase is the longest running, most successful producer event in the world.  In 2009 iStandard organized and coordinated shows in 10 major markets including NYC, Boston, Miami, Philly, San Francisco, LA, ATL, PHX, Chicago and already has an aggressive schedule compiled for 2010 including the aforementioned as well as new markets such as Minneapolis, and more to be announced. We are currently presented by ASCAP, IK Multimedia and Ableton.

To date we have platformed over 2000 talented Producers who have all been seen by industry figureheads such as DJ Premier, Swizz Beats, Hi Tek, Sha Money XL (Co founder of G Unit) Lenny S (VP of A&R Def Jam), Riggs Morales (SR VP of A&R Shady Records) and Senator Skid (AR Manager Bad Boy Records) to name a few. Through our iStandard Showcase, many producers have established incredible relationships, gained incomparable advice and have placed records with 50 Cent, The Clipse, KRS One and Buckshot, Grafh as well as Jill Scott and The Viacom Network (MTV).

The iStandard Producer Showcase is a professionally run, well organized event that has a great reputation in the music industry while putting up and coming producers at the forefront of their movement. If you want to get seen, get heard and your not above being critiqued, then you need to submit your music to a showcase closest to your city.
