Timothy Bloom was born in El Paso, TX and raised in Fayetteville, NC by his parents Charles and Deborah Bloom. Born as the blessed 3rd child of five, Timothy was imparted with the gift of music. As the son of pastors Timothy was directly infused with the power of spiritual music…………..automatically!!!, To say he is musically inclined is an understatement. Since the age of 14, he has been in a love affair with instrumentation, playing drums, piano, guitar, and bass. After graduating High School, Timothy was allowed the opportunity to travel to Germany to further his musical journey. Since Timothy Bloom’s return to the United States he has performed in front of musical executives such as, Clive Davis, Greg Kallman, Monte Lipman, Sylvia Rhone and former Capitol Records executive Andy Slater. Timothy Bloom is the 3rd person to play on Nat King Coles grand piano besides Stevie Wonder. He has had the pleasure to work with Smokey Robinson (”My World”, “Fallin in Love”), Ne-yo’s ( “Say it”) and Usher’s group, One Chance (”Emotional”) just to name a few as the list will go on and on from upcoming artist to Major. Currently working on his debut album Life Without Music, Timothy Bloom is setting standards of greatness creating timeless pieces that even Marvin Gaye would want to come up out of his grave and say “What’s going on?”. Seems to me that his destiny has already been foretold seeking refuge to be the “next”. Bloom’s humility can be understood through his words, “If I could give anything to the world it would be the same blessing that I’ve received which is the gateway to happiness.” Throughout his course in life Timothy Bloom has experienced disappointments and hardships, not excluding the industries betrayals and let downs, but beyond his struggles he is able to see a perfect world outside of himself through the eyes of his two children. Listening to Timothy’s music has allowed me to see a different perspective of sound through the melodic chords, heavy rock oriented drums, with the right touch of soul. Its not r&b, pop, hip hop, country, gospel, neo-soul or whatever your preference may be, its just refreshing good MUSIC. Being influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the family stone, Bob Marley, The Beetles, Cat Stevens, Jeff Buckley, Betty Wright, Marvin Gaye, and Bill Withers, Timothy wishes to carry the torch for the legendary musicians that have paved the way for many. “In times like these where the world is in a place of adversity and despair, God has always sent someone to touch his children to ensure them that everything will be alright. In the days of slavery, war and even during the holocaust, God has always allowed time for peace, and this is what Timothy Bloom wants to offer the WOLRD. “Its not just about the Music its about the service due to GOD”!!!!!

MoBillionairez ft Mannie Fresh "Shake It Fast" Dirty-Bonus Track: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download40 Cal “Certified American Gangsta”

The motto this year is I do it, I did it and I do it again” says 40 Cal, a veteran of both the New York City battle and mixtape scenes. Harlem native and longtime Dipset member 40 Cal has been dubbed “Mr. Rewind That,” a moniker that pays tribute to his hard hitting rhymes and quick witted metaphors that force fans, DJs, and foes alike to rewind… because when he spits, he spits fire.
Now, with indie powerhouse Babygrande Records in his corner (Hi-Tek, Gillie Da Kid, GZA of Wu-Tang and more), 40 Cal steps into his own with the May 22nd release of Broken Safety 2. The album features cameos from the entire Dipset family, including heavy-hitters Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, and JR Writer, along with superstar Akon, amongst others.
As a Dipset member, 40 has waited for the time when he could step up and out on his own. In the interim, 40 has garnered a heavy following. 40 himself says he has “the underground on lock like a transit strike.” Bold statement? Maybe. But 40 has the resume, the reputation, and most importantly, the backing of the entire Dipset crew to substantiate his claim. “I’m with the Diplomats, ain’t no secret, and Cam is the reason why I am here” 40 proudly states.
40’s introduction to the game was as a featured artist on The Diplomats’ smash Diplomatic Immunity II along with highly coveted appearances on the Dipset crew’s More Than Music Vol. 1 and The Movement Moves On (both records certified gold). Battle rap enthusiasts, however, have seen 40 face-off against Cardi, Sam Scarfo, and even himself in the now notorious episodes of MTV’s Fight Klub. Those led to a now legendary battle with Def Jam’s Scarfo, who had amassed a stretch of victories until 40 stole his crown.
To further solidify his street dominion, Cal dedicated a track on his original Broken Safety album to Sam Scarfo entitled Sam Scared. And he didn’t stop there. In response to Nas’ declaration that hip-hop is dead, Cal wrote a track slamming Nas and his tired “music.” To Cal, the art form is still vibrant; one simply needs to know where to look. “Any music form is gonna change, gonna evolve,” Cal explains. “Their version of hip-hop is dead. Nobody’s breakdancin’ or graffiti writin’… but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.”
40 has more than verbal braggadocio to substantiate his claim, having amassed street based mixtape sales of 50,000+ units. And as for the name… people assume that 40 Cal comes from the .40 caliber pistol, but they’re wrong. His name is a tribute to the man himself and the streets he calls home. Born Calvin Byrd, 40 Cal joins his name and the New York City neighborhood where he grew up, 140th Street.
When asked about his plans for the future, Cal says “Every album I wanna bring a movie with it, cinematic story lines, like soundtracks.” He will appear on Fight Klub Season 2, and also hopes to develop and mentor new artists. “I’m in a position where I can put other people through the door.”
No matter what he’s doing, whether battling, hustling mixtapes, or promoting new talent, 40 Cal has finally arrived as a torchbearing member of the tight knit Dipset crew. “This brand is here,” he says, “and it ain’t goin’ nowhere. Diplomats is more than a label, we like blood.”
Spoken like a true family man.
