Simone began her road to success by acting, singing, modeling and writing at the Black Experimental Theatre in Manhattan as a young adult. Modeling and singing would be her focus until she secured an accounting position at Power Play Studios in Queens, NY. There, she learned behind the scenes management techniques of the entertainment industry. With her entrepreneurial spirit as her guide, Simone blazed her own trail in 1993 when she founded and operated her own talent management company, Front Page Entertainment Group. Front Page provided road management, executive production, publicity, marketing / promotions, bookings and creative guidance to artists such well known musical masterminds as Mad Lion, KRS-ONE, Fat Joe, Channel Live, Super Natural, and many others.

In 1995, Vibe magazine recognized Simone’s company as of the “hottest management companies of the year.” In 2001, Simone – keeping true to the fact that hard work pays off – secured a distribution deal with Koch Entertainment for Front Page Records, executive producing 4 albums for Hip Hop legend KRS ONE, making the company more profitable and gaining it more spotlight, she went on the host an inspirational radio show on KTYM in LA, called Shower the Spirit. Throughout the years Simone’s respect in the music industry lead her to co-produce, hosted and stage manage shows at NYC hot spots such as SOBs, Tramps Night Club and Irving Plaza. Simone is the founder and chief executivce operator of a lifestyle communications company named Say it With a Word.
